By joining the Cortex founders list or accessing our website ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Important: These terms apply to all users of Cortex, including founders list members and early adopters.

Cortex: Cortex is a productivity and discipline tracking application that combines smart calendar, daily recap, project management, and many more features never done before.

Founders List: The Service includes an exclusive founders list program that provides early access, special pricing (20% off forever), and exclusive features to founding members.

Pre-Launch Status: Cortex is currently in development and will launch soon. The founders list provides exclusive access to updates, early features, and special pricing.

Founders List Membership: By joining the founders list, you agree to receive exclusive updates, early access opportunities, and special pricing offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Data Privacy: Your personal data and information are protected according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Secure Storage: Your founders list information is stored securely and encrypted for your protection.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Share your founders list access with others
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or intimidate others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Spam or abuse our founders list communications

Ownership: The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ilias Mahboub and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

License: The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

Open Source: Some components may be open source and subject to their respective licenses.

No Liability: In no event shall Cortex, its founder, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any).

AS IS: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Cortex makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Pre-Launch Software: As Cortex is still in development, we cannot guarantee specific launch dates or that all planned features will be available immediately upon launch.

Founders List Termination: We may remove you from the founders list if you violate these terms, spam our communications, or engage in harmful behavior.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will lose access to founders list benefits, but you may still join the regular waitlist.

Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Continued Use: Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Third-Party Components: Cortex may include open source software components. These components are subject to their respective open source licenses, which are separate from these Terms.

License Compliance: You acknowledge that your use of such components is governed by their respective licenses, and you agree to comply with those licenses.

Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Enforcement: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

International Use: The Service is available globally. Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

COPPA Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, fire, natural disasters, power outages, or government actions.
